Hello everyone,
This is Jinn Meii, A roving reporter for Radio Free Curse. My job in the coming days will be to give you as much information as I possibly can, concerning the upcoming war between the powerful hired mercenary group and the fledging Curse Coalition.
As I roam through the curse region on the eve of one of the greatest battles this universe has seen since the big bang, you can feel the excitement in the vacuum.
For those of you just returning from a deep space mining operation and havenÆt been informed, let me get you caught up on events. After endless attacks against the inept and helpless ISS, the ISS has hired a mercenary group known asàwellàMercenary Corp.
(I was hoping for a more dramatic name, but weÆre stuck with what we have.)
Anyway, the ISS hired this group of mercs to rid the space lanes of the so-called Curse Coalition.
According to sources this will be the third mercenary group the ISS has hired to try and tame this unruly rabble since the CC was formed.
It also seems that the vultures are also out with the smell of blood. Rumor has come to my attention that ûV-, Shinra and possibly CHIMP are gathering forces to help attack.
Currently, I am in my shuttle flying high over the Sendaya gate in Doril out of the reach of those nasty CC guys. As soon as I arrived in the system, they tried to shoot me down in my shuttle.
But I managed to get away.
HavenÆt these guys heard of the free press?
I came here last night right after I heard about the declaration of war because the people have a right to know whatÆs going on and IÆm going to try and give the people as much information as I can.
Although the declaration is still hours from taking effect, there have already been clashes.
Just after I arrived in the system, a large force V, Chimp and Shinra arrived and began to camp the Utopia gate in Doril.
It was a force worthy of battle hardened warriors with at least five battleships and various support ships.
You would not think the evil CC would not have been able to contend with this group.
But alas, a much smaller group of ships from the CC arrived and jumped in from Utopia right on top of the other, much larger force.
I can only surmise that the CC have a spy in V, Shinra, or CHIMP as the CC seemed to know exactly what to hit and where.
I can only guess the V, Shinra and CHIMP must have been fitted for long range as those devils in the CC began to take them apart.
In just a flash of an eye, three V, Shinra and CHIMP battleships exploded killing everyone but the captain aboard.
It was all I could do to keep from screaming at the inhumanity.
The still much larger V, Shinra and CHIMP fleet was forced to run away and retire to the Sendaya system.
Hopefully the Merc Coaliation will fare better against this sorcerers then the previous fleet.
And when that happens, I will be here to record every detail of the battle and bring up all the news however I can.
